Hello, I am starting this blog to a) get some of my thoughts down so maybe 3-20 months down the line I can see how naive and silly xyz idea was b) improve myself and c) possibly get my name out there.
Trading and researching is where I spend the most time during the course of any given day so that should translate into a trend of what gets written in my posts. I have been trading since the age of 15 (so about 7 years now) and tried a variety of (failed) strategies. After reading countless books and articles and experiencing the extremes of Mother Market's temperament, the two biggest takeaways are discipline and risk-management. Hopefully, I can offer and receive some good ideas and discussions about trading and anything else.

- During any market environment, technical analysis has a place alongside the fundamentals. Breaking down charts is a science and an art. TA helps me manage my risk as it gives a little more clarity and objectivity to my analysis on the market and individual securities.
